Home Tour Part 1- The Exterior

I shared our "construction process" with you all when nosotros were just finishing up our house {encounter that post here: "Wrapping upward Our New Home Construction."}

Well, I promised y'all all a tour when it was completed, and I'm get-go to wonder if I'll Always feel similar it's completed enough to bear witness. And then… I idea, "Why not go ahead! I tin can always add together more than later."

So here we go:

Exterior Update:

We've finally added shutters to our house! We are still planning to stain the shutters {stain color TBD}, but I couldn't await to share with you the new look! Only two years later… 😉

Now… the difficult office? Getting my husband to permit united states stay in this business firm for longer than a year. We've moved 5 times in the concluding 2 years, and I'one thousand fix to stay put for a while. Simply have yous always tried to get a real estate programmer to sit all the same? 😉

Later on 5 years of marriage, and two kiddos, we decided it was fourth dimension to build a abode for "united states of america,".

From twenty-four hour period one, I knew my husband was exceptional at building and designing custom homes, so I wanted to "stay out of it." I'chiliad so glad I did, because I couldn't be happier with the way everything turned out.

I snapped these photos right after we had sod put down, and we're not QUITE finished with the landscaping, but having light-green grass is soooo dainty compared to a dingy grand!

We concluded up finishing our basement, and that completed the house with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths.

We had e'er wanted a gas lantern on our dwelling one 24-hour interval, so we knew it was a must when we were picking out lighting.

My hubby likewise added a little flair to the ceiling of the front porch by adding this blazon of soffit . I never knew this was even an choice, and love how information technology turned out!
